clagroup.online is operated by CLA GROUP LIMITED, a Private company limited by shares registered at Companies House in England and Wales under company number 12992998, incorporated on 3 November 2020 and trading as CLA Group.
Registered office: 43 Oldbury Road, St Johns, Worcester, Worcestershire, England, WR2 6AA. This is also our address for correspondence and for service of documents.
CLA Group provides editorial and document services: proofreading, copy-editing, substantive editing, academic and business document review, document formatting, editorial style sheets, and subtitle and transcript editing. All work is carried out in English.
Everything is delivered digitally by email. There are no physical goods and nothing is shipped.
We work with both businesses and private individuals. Where a customer is a consumer — that is, acting wholly or mainly outside a trade, business, craft or profession — the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, and nothing in our Terms removes those rights. The Terms of Service set out where the two differ.
CLA GROUP LIMITED is not currently registered for VAT, as its turnover is below the UK registration threshold. No VAT is charged and none is recoverable by the customer. The price shown is the full amount payable — nothing is added at checkout, and there is no handling fee, processing fee or separate tax line.
Prices are shown in euro or pounds sterling according to the currency you select. Each currency has its own fixed price list; amounts are not converted at a live exchange rate. The currency shown at checkout is the currency in which payment is taken.
Editorial and proofreading work is not a regulated profession in the United Kingdom. CLA GROUP LIMITED does not hold, and does not claim to hold, any statutory licence, professional certification or regulatory authorisation in connection with these services.
We commit to carrying out the work described in an order with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. We do not guarantee any particular outcome that depends on a third party — an examination result, a publication decision, an application being accepted, or a grade awarded. Editorial work improves a document; it does not determine what someone else decides about it.
The structure of this website, its text, layout and design are the property of CLA GROUP LIMITED unless stated otherwise. Reproduction or adaptation of any part without prior written permission is not permitted.
Ownership of work produced for customers is governed by the Terms of Service. Documents a customer sends us remain that customer’s property at all times.
